My final project idea was to develop an application that allows the user to paint and draw using the kinect. Using TUI kinect application and processing I managed to allow the user to draw lines with their hands.
My idea was to allow painters to release their energies through motion. It is said that when a person moves in high power poses their emotional state becomes more positive. My intention is to have the artist to feel their painting as well as paint it.
This project only reached the very early stages of development. I hope to further to develop to reach my goals. Which are to allow the user to chose between various brushes, colors, change opacity leavels, save and print the their pieces.
